GFK notified all owners and tenants that a group of burglars have broken into apartment buildings in our area and quickly activated the building's fire alarm system by pulling a fire alarm.

 

When the building has been evacuated, the thieves go door to door looking for unlocked doors so they can steal whatever they want in the unit.

 

Whenever you evacuate the building because of the fire alarm, remember to lock your door to safeguard your possessions. The Fire Department doesn't require unlocked doors to fight a fire.
