Fire One, the Landings' fire safety contractor, will test all fire alarms in the building on Thursday, May 5, 2016, beginning about 9:00 AM and ending by noon. Fire alarms that screech in the hallways and in all the units will be tested to confirm they are functioning normally. (See the photo at right for one of the unit fire alarms.) These alarms are different from the smoke detectors installed in units.

 

Fire One will need access to all units for this required testing. Owners are responsible to open their units for the test. Owners who cannot be present should provide their keys to Gary Hammons (unit 404).

 

Fire alarms will sound in each unit for this test. If you have a pet that may be sensitive to the alarms, please make alternative arrangements for your pet.
