During the night of October 13, high winds knocked down a tree on a neighboring property near the southwest corner of our building (see the photo at right). Fortunately, there was no damage to our building. However, the apartment building on the right side of the photo suffered visible damage to a fence and to a downspout.

 

Expect noise in the coming weeks as arborists remove the fallen tree and its remaining trunk.

 

The Board is working with the owner of the tree and two surrounding properties to share the cost of removing the remaining trees. Because of the steep slope in this spot, a city permit must be obtained before the standing trees can be cut down.
