Empty Your Bags of Recycling
Posted on Jan 10th, 2020

To meet city requirements and to keep recycling costs down, remember to empty your bags full of collected recycling into the blue recycling dumpster, as shown in the photo. Do not place full bags into the dumpster, because full bags make the sorting process more difficult and increase the city's expense.
All shredded paper should be put in a biodegradable bag and placed in the green food waste bin. Do not place shredding in the blue recycling dumpster.
All plastic food bags and wrappers should be put in the garbage dumpster. Put no plastic bags in recycling. (Grocery stores often collect the plastic bags they provide, so you can return clean plastic bags to them.)
